Our meeting began with tea and biscuits. Brenda [treasurer] and Fran [secretary] discuss finances.

Beryl Jarvis was our demonstrator, with an introduction to quilting on the knitting machine.

She started with single bed quilting, which seemed fairly simple in her hands, but which is a little fiddly.

Then she went on to doing it on the ribber, which was much quicker.

Here she is preparing to stuff the pockets in the quilting, before closing them with a row of full needle rib.

She also unveiled her latest quilting project – a premiere showing at Long Buckby Machine Knitters!
