Sue Booth – Intarsia

Sue did not disappoint with this comprehensive look at intarsia and related skills.

She used various methods to knit with several colours in each row:

· an intarsia carriage

· knitleader/ holding position/ slip stitch/ knitting pieces separately and then joining whilst knitting/ and

· using lettering

And then she showed us ‘magic’ fairisle.

A full house watched with full concentration and enthusiasm.  Let us hope that we all go home and practise these skills!
