Long Buckby Machine Knitters

Long Buckby Machine Knitters is a club primarily for sharing ideas and expertise about machine knitting, although we also indulge in other textile crafts.

We welcome anyone who wishes to share with us, and anyone who would like to visit from other clubs.

We are also happy to visit other clubs, and share our expertise.

Meetings are held at Long Buckby Community Centre each month from 2 – 4 pm on the second Monday of each month

Meetings without outside speaker: £5 non members, £3 members

  • July 7 2025 meeting

    This meeting will start at the usual time of 2pm, but there is an additional planning meeting immediately prior to it, which starts at 12, and is open to any member interested in contributing towards planning next year’s calendar. The newsletter is also available here

    We are again delighted to welcome Erica Thomson, who will demonstrate embellishment using a sewing machine and/or overlocker. The newsletter is available here

    The May 12th meeting is forum-style and we have demos, PAT testing and a discussion about the club to look forward to.

    Our meeting on the 14th is a discussion of cut and sew techniques, with a demonstration on cutting out with a projector.
